The workshop was hosted by thebrandgals.com and taught us tricks and tips to utilize Instagram – though I’m not very active on Instagram and don’t consider it part of my social media strategy. The venue was amazing, and the workshop lasted from 11 – 4 PM. We were fed 3x, which is why this post is filled with so much food! I have to …

Laduree Macarons

I’m going to let you guys in on a little secret… that NO ONE KNOWS, except you guys. Those beautiful and delicious macarons in the photo? Aren’t mine. Those hands holding that beautiful box? Isn’t mine. Basically, I was stupid and did not get any macarons. I got Laduree mixed up with Bottega Louie in LA and refused to spend 36 Euros on a box of macarons! Story Time… Vicky and I decided to go to Laduree on our last night and it was our last stop before heading back home. Vicky didn’t even know what Laduree was and wanted to go since my sister told me to get her some macarons. We walked inside the gorgeous store (there was a little cart outside that sold macarons and icecream) and waited in line. I didn’t understand why there were so many foreigners in line, some were even from LA! When we got to the counter, Vicky asked the guy for the prices. Guy: A pack of 6 will be 18 Euros.  Vicky: So cheap! Me: What the hell, that’s expensive. …

Lemon Shakers

Lemon Shakers Like I said, we visited the Effiel Tower everyday! So on our last night there, we went to the Effiel Tower to try to get some polaroid photos of us in front of it. After the trek, we were so thirsty and saw a line outside of this booth so we decided to get some lemonade. I really wanted to get strawberry, but there weren’t anymore left. The guy working was very sweet and talkative. He knew so many languages and was Ukranian. I thought the process of making lemonade was super cool also, they used a machine to press down on the Lemons! He told us that everyone here was basically a tourist and that all the french people have gone on vacation during August since August is notorious for having so many tourists. The lemonade was sooo good that we drank all of it within 5 minutes of getting the drink. Nothing better than freshly made lemonade. We were also able to choose how much sugar we wanted in our lemonade, …

Princess Crepe, Paris, France

Princess Crepe Honestly, what would be the whole point of going to Paris if we didn’t have any crepes? We actually got to have crepes in amsterdam but those turned out horribly bad! I thought I had written a post on it… but guess I didn’t! Anyway, back to the marvelous crepe place in Paris…. We found this place on YELP , so were excited to try it and it was near the Van Gogh Museum so we didn’t have to walk too far out of the way. The outside didn’t really look like anything special, but compared to the shops in Paris it really stood out, so it didn’t take us too long to find it. I took a quick picture of these cute little crepes on display for those who were passing by. The workers were all so cute and I loved that they spoke Japanese with one another. When we went, there was only one couple inside the store that was patiently waiting for their crepe to finish – which was fine by us because we customized our …

Pool Side Pretty Recap , Orange County

#PoolSide Pretty Event Recap!  This weekend, I was lucky enough to be invited to attend Poolside Pretty event! It was hosted by my former boss, Donna owner of Serene Sky + Cheryl from Skinny on Beauty . I’m sure there will be some posts from other bloggers about the event, but I just love love love behind the scenes posts because our lives are not all as glamorous (not saying mine is, in general) as other people think it is + you rarely see photos that weren’t meant to be posted on certain blogs… but since I was in charge of taking photos, I took a bunch of photos! Haha! So, Lindsey helped me take photos and we kept each other company while setting up before the event. Seriously, Lindsey is just the sweetest & amazing, so I hired her to help manage my blog (more on that later!). I interned with Lindsey last year, and always see her at events so it’s always fun to have a familiar face 🙂 ❤ Lindsey, if you’re reading this – I love you! haha Did I …

My own custom made Mug

And the best boyfriend award goes to….  Seriously so happy and what a surprise! I never would have thought that Brandon would buy me a custom mug off of Etsy. I also love that there’s a backside so I can choose which side I want to display while I’m drinking my coffee! Anyway, if you guys think this is cute… I might have a surprise for all of my lovely followers coming up soon! But, these days have been quite busy and I have alot to tell you! I’ll leave that for another day though!
