Create a blog swap button / about me

If you look to the right of my profile, you should be able to see my Button, along with my favorite bloggers! I have to admit, I got started on the button swap bandwagon very late – I haven’t been going on other blogger’s actual wordpress sites and looking around. But, better late than never right? Swapping buttons with another blogger can be a great way to meet other bloggers and get more views!  Why you should make a Blog “Button” 1. You can direct traffic to your site. If you love reading someone else’s blog, and notice that they have a button on their site then don’t be shy! Ask them to swap a button with you. I love going on a blog and seeing other blogs that they love, most of the time the audience and niche are the same also. So, by having your button on someone else’s site, there’s a good chance that their readers will click on your button also!  2. You can make friends! Having a button means also supporting another blog, …

Heritage Park Photoshoot

#Behindthescenes Heritage Park Photoshoot! 18600 Bloomfield Ave, Cerritos, CA 90703 I am super excited to write this post… so excited that I quickly hurried home, pestered my photographer friend (Patrick) and edited all my photos (that I took myself). This was taken with my little point & Shoot (the same one I gave Brandon for xmas). Just because you have a inexpensive camera doesn’t mean you can’t take nice pictures!!!  Here’s a little recap of what happened.. It was actually a horrible horrible horrible day. I was already running late for my 4pm appointment with my models (just two of my best friends) & my photographer. I got there early, so that’s how I was able to grab all of these wonderful shots. If you’ve never been to Heritage Park before, then please take your children or even your spouse here! It’s wonderful.    Heritage has so many buildings inside it’s “Little Island”. There’s even a castle (sorry no pictures because I was too lazy to walk around). Yay! Each “house” has slides, stairs, little ramps. Brandon & …

{Blogger Tutorials} How to Edit your photos (No Photoshop Needed)

It’s been a while hasn’t it? I know I’ve been putting out alot of reviews and fashion posts, so here’s a post that I think would benefit you guys. As a blogger, I try to find tutorials on how to edit simply because we don’t need all those tips and tricks. We edit just to enhance our photos. Here’s a little mini tutorial for those who have photoshop. If you don’t have photoshop then check below to see other editors! Adjust Brightness & see the difference 1. Simply open up photoshop and find the document you want to edit. After, go to IMAGE > ADJUSTMENTS > BRIGHTNESS/CONTRAST 2. Change your Brightness, sometimes I go 30 (most of the time), if the picture is pretty dark I go 50 (for Brightness). Then, I like to change the contrast to half (depending on how it looks). Brightening really helps your photos, before I didn’t use it as much because I had decent lighting but now, I ALWAYS brighten up my photos no matter what!  It just really makes a …

Serene Sky Boutique & My favorite items

Hi Guys! Talk about some late night blogging, I’ve been a little too busy and sick to blog but here’s a huge update on what I’ve been doing! I was really bored (hence all the major posting I’ve been doing… once a day!) so I went online and looked for some internships that had to do with fashion & Blogging. I ended up landing an intern position as Serenesky’s graphic designer and blogger!  Feel Free to visit Serene Sky Here   My first post, you can read it on their blog 🙂 Aren’t these items lovely? Here’s why I love these items. 1. Nouveau Blue Ring – I love vibrant colors such as this gorgeous sea blue ring. Though the color is bold, it looks sophisicated – you’ll stand out without causing too much of a scene. I also love the gold plated brass, it gives it a mesmerizing look.   2. Silver Open Infinity CZ Necklace – I chose this necklace because I’m a die hard romantic. I love everything heart related! Men, take note; this would be a wonderful gift …

3 Blogs I’m Following

Putting my blogging goggles back on and I’m back with my “3 blogs I’m following.” I hope you guys get a chance to check out their blogs because for new bloggers like me it gives me a chance to look at their pictures, get inspiration and be motivated. All of the blogs are successful for a good reason – they engage with their followers, post regularly and are all so talented!  First one up,  It’s not her it’s me was started by the talented blogger/photographer Toshiko Shek. I stumbled upon her blog while searching up inspiration from the FOREVER 21 website, she posted up a guest post talking about Spa Water. She caught my attention because I loved the graphics, they looked very clean and simplistic but also eye-catching. I’m a big fan of fashion bloggers who also have strong writing skills. She puts her skills to good use and is a Wardrobe & Floral Stylist along with being a Visual Merchandiser.  How talented is that? Romantic Fawn is owned by Elaine Jung, who is just 16 years old but is …

3 Blogs I’m currently reading…

3 Blogs I’m currently reading ! Looking for a blog to add to your blogroll? Interested in hair, fashion, and beauty? Well, here are some blogs that I’m reading and you should too! Here’s a little snippet about each of the bloggers.  1) Kryz Uy I already featured her on my blog before- along with Xiaxue and Fay but I love Kryz Uy. If you’re looking for a new fashion blog to follow, look no further. The thing I love most about her is that she shares her imperfections with her readers and tells her readers to love themselves. She admits her flaws and works hard to better herself. She is also part of the Dove Campaign! It’s hard to believe that someone as beautiful as her can feel insecure, but reading her blog makes me feel motivated and inspired!   So classy & sophisicated  My favorite outfit posts from her!  2) Beautify Meeh  I actually found this blog on youtube, but stumbled upon it again just a few days ago. Angel is known for her makeup …
