Attending my first Workshop + some gorgeous photos!

Attending the Snap! Workshop in LA I have exciting news ! I launched my blog, The Coffee Date on Thursday and I’ve been getting around 300 views a day! This is huge as Dianasadventures doesn’t get anywhere near that even though I have 600+ wonderful subscribers 🙂 You guys all know how much I love to share blogging tips + photoshop tips so if you want some more of that, don’t forget to subscribe to my new blog http://www.thecoffeedate.com and follow me on there. Anyway, back to the main article which is what you guys are hopefully here for! haha, I was able to attend my first workshop on Saturday in LA and it was all about Instagram! The workshop was hosted by thebrandgals.com and taught us tricks and tips to utilize Instagram – though I’m not very active on Instagram and don’t consider it part of my social media strategy. The venue was amazing, and the workshop lasted from 11 – 4 PM. We were fed 3x, which is why this post is filled with so much food! I have to …

Tips for New Bloggers

After blogging for more than a year and a half, I decided to compile a list of things I wish I knew earlier on in my blogging journey. I’ve always wondered why people had so much more followers compared to me when they had only been blogging for a month or two. Though some could say that it is content, (cause my blog sucks) others might say that it’s due to how hard they work. To be honest, when I first started blogging the first few months I did practically nothing. Yes, I managed to post about 3 times a week, and I have gone months where I posted everyday, but that was all I did. No interaction, nothing. So, if you’re a new blogger, I hope you can see this list and hopefully learn something that will help you on your journey that we call “blogging.”  Included in the list are some tips that I just recently learned!  1. Find people to follow by using the search tag option. When I first started, for some wild reason I never really took advantage of the sidebar, …

Bloggers, Get OVER Yourself!

You’re just a Blogger.  Because you guys get all defensive, let me elaborate / explain myself . We already live in a world that is filled with material items, people who spend massive amounts of money to impress people they don’t like, and those who judge people who don’t have enough. When did blogging become part of that world?  I was recently invited to an event where there would be plenty of bloggers present. I thought nothing of it really, I’ve heard wonderful stories about meetups going great + everyone coming home with a new best blogger friend. So, I attended this event thinking nothing of it, only to be immediantly uncomfortable when I arrived. As soon as I arrived with a friend, someone asked, “You guys are bloggers? Which blog are you from?” Sorry, but is there supposed to be a specific way a blogger is supposed to look? Are we all supposed to maintain the same type of dress code, or blog about a certain thing?  Though my friend handled it very well, I was a …

Serene Sky Boutique & My favorite items

Hi Guys! Talk about some late night blogging, I’ve been a little too busy and sick to blog but here’s a huge update on what I’ve been doing! I was really bored (hence all the major posting I’ve been doing… once a day!) so I went online and looked for some internships that had to do with fashion & Blogging. I ended up landing an intern position as Serenesky’s graphic designer and blogger!  Feel Free to visit Serene Sky Here   My first post, you can read it on their blog 🙂 Aren’t these items lovely? Here’s why I love these items. 1. Nouveau Blue Ring – I love vibrant colors such as this gorgeous sea blue ring. Though the color is bold, it looks sophisicated – you’ll stand out without causing too much of a scene. I also love the gold plated brass, it gives it a mesmerizing look.   2. Silver Open Infinity CZ Necklace – I chose this necklace because I’m a die hard romantic. I love everything heart related! Men, take note; this would be a wonderful gift …
