Spending the day in MACAU

Why I had to go to Macau Many exchange students and people who have not gotten their visa’s validated are required to leave the country (Hong Kong) and come back in through immigration to get it stamped. I was recommended to go to Macau by my school; I was really nervous because I thought I would have to make the trip alone but while waiting in line, I made a new friend : Jane. Me & Jane decided that we were going to Macau together after one day of meeting each other and it was the best decision ever! We have now become best friends 🙂 How to get to Macau from Hong Kong Getting to Macau was very easy and hassle free. We had to board the turbo jet, there are two locations : Sheung Wan or TST. My friend and I opted to take the TST way. The trip will cost roughly about 50 USD dollars and it will take one hour to get to Macau. The boat was a bit more fancy …

My Favorites {OC FOOD PLACES}

    Another post that I made for Serene Sky – don’t forget to check out the blog! As someone who is lucky to live near the center of all things food, I decided to make a food post for you guys! Hopefully you guys will drool over the food like I did! If you are looking forward to visiting SOCAL, then make sure you drop by these gems! You won’t regret it. 1) Coffee Code {7855 La Palma Ave, Buena Park, CA 90620} Many of us start our day with a cup of coffee and waffles, but you’ve never seen anything this yummy or delicious! Coffee Code is known for their desserts: Coffee & Waffles. They have plenty of different waffles such as: chocolate chip waffle, fruit waffle, mochi waffle, and different flavored brick toasts. I would recommend the chocolate chip waffle. Sake 2 Me {13951 Carroll Way,Tustin, CA 9278} My favorite place to get sushi! Stuffed Bell Peppers Recipe

Looking for an easy dinner to make? This recipe is super easy and takes about 30 minutes to prepare! The reason I say about is that I guesstimated everything, but don’t worry… it’s not hard at all and most of the ingredients are pretty much done before they’re popped in the oven! This was the dinner Brandon, my friends & I got to eat last night… yum yum. Look yummy right? Well, don’t worry – they all tasted fabulous! The recipe for the sliders will be up on another post (most likely tomorrow, so stay tuned for that). I would like to mention that you can put ANYTHING you want into these, use your imagination 😛 1. Peppers (The bigger the better) 2. Any type of meat. You can also sub the meat for brown rice. 3. Cheese 4. Onions, mushrooms, green onion. (Or, you can use any type of fillers you want.) 5. Some spices: I used salt, Paprika, and Pepper.    1) Start by cutting all the onions, mushrooms, and Peppers. For the peppers, cut them in the …

What I’ve been eating.

    I’ve been eating oatmeal everyday for the past four days! An accomplishment indeed, especially since I hated oatmeal. Whole wheat pita bread, cilantro and chive yogurt dip, my freshly made oatmeal (maple brown and sugar), PENNYWORTH Juice and Coconut water.  Trader Joe’s Oatmeal & Pure Coconut Water Maple Brown and Sugar Oatmeal: Tastes delicious! Seriously. Although my sister complains that its a bit sweet, add a bit more water into it then! I hate hate hate oatmeal but maybe because I never got the right one… I seriously have cravings for this.  I usually eat two eggs for breakfast, drink some coffee but this makes me feel already full. It does have quite a bit of sugar though…. but it does decent on the other vitamins. Plus, it’s low in calories!  Bubbling after boiling water is poured into it, in about three or four minutes – it’ll be done and perfect! For Lunch, I have one Pita Bread & the Dip. This tastes better than the oatmeal (well, of course) and thanks to the oatmeal – …

Happy birthday Dat!

It was my friend’s birthday yesterday and he turned the big 21! Since he and my other friend were coming from Universal, they were really hungry. The place we decided to eat and roam around was downtown Disney! I recommended the Jazz Kitchen, but the wait was an hour and a half; so we ended up going to Rainforest Cafe. The wait was only 40 minutes so they chose it. I heard that it was always pricey, but since I never ate there before I really didn’t know how much. Also, everyone told me the food was good… so I had pretty high hopes for this place.  Luckily, there was a live band playing there. My first glimpse at the Rain forest cafe; which is really nice and pretty on the outside but sorry… no pics! If you’re too lazy to read or look through the pictures…  Honestly, I didn’t like Rain Forest Cafe at all… although the meal Brandon & I got was a pretty OK deal (compared to the rest); our bill for basically five people …

DZK formals

(me & my favorite – Lisa) This post might be boring for some, but I made plenty of memories tonight that I just want to save! I’m currently in a sorority as Historian & Fundraising chair; and it’s officially been a year since I crossed!  The price of formals was pretty steep, 50 dollars per person but I had so much fun with the perfect date, Brandon. I quickly uploaded these pictures after coming back less than 30 minutes ago. Click below to see all the pictures from the event!
