New Year Resolutions 2015

Late to the party, but better late than never! 2014 has been the best year so far. I was able to study abroad, meet wonderful friends who I will always have fond memories with, explore the world and finish an amazing internship. While many of my resolutions have been the same these past few years, this year will be different. I hope I’ll be able to stick to my new year resolutions and finish strong! The list 1. Learn something new. Whether it’s improving on my HTML, or CSS+, it’s always good to learn something new. This year, I have decided to invest in Rosetta stone and learn spanish and improve on my chinese. Instead of learning traditional chinese, I am starting to learn simplified chinese (which is easier to remember). 2. Be more active and healthy. Thanks to studying abroad, I was able to shed a few pounds but after my Rome trip… I gained almost all of it back! I have started to look back into kickboxing lessons and have already emailed some places …

D.I.Y Aloe Vera Mask

I like Aloe Vera; unsurprisingly I use it more during the summer than any other season. Why? Because I am prone to sunburns! It also reduces inflammation.  I was tired of all the other Aloe Vera gels that I was buying, it had too many chemicals in it and didn’t work as well – so luckily my parents began to plant Aloe Vera in our backyard!  I actually have some more in the front yard. Here is 3 next …

Summer Power Smoothie

Feeling much better after being stuck in bed for the past few days! All I did was sleep sleep, use my phone for some Instagram posts and work on my internship (more on that later!). Anyway, I hope you guys are enjoying summer so far – summer time means that my whole kitchen is stocked up on fruits such as Mangoes, Strawberries, Peaches, Bananas & Pineapple! For this little mini tutorial (because who doesn’t know how to make this simple smoothie?) I used frozen strawberries and Pineapple. The Ingredients 1. Strawberries – My favorite fruit… so sweet and yummy! 2. Pineapples – I actually hate Pineapple, can’t stand the taste but in a smoothie it’s easier to handle 😛 3. Bananas – I love Bananas 🙂 4. Milk – I prefer nonfat milk for this smoothie. 5. Sugar or Condesened Milk (although not necessary since Bananas are sweet enough)               My mother is a big fan of anything organic. Usually there is nonfat milk, but this time we used 1%!  …
