What I’m Packing {Makeup}

{Makeup} I have no doubt I’ll be buying lots of makeup in Hong Kong, so for my trip I packed very lightly. These items are items you have already seen from my makeup kit (previous entries); but the newest item that I just bought before I left is the “Big Easy BB cream” from Benefit. Big Easy better than BB cream – Benefit You can read my review on this lovely foundation here

Dermal Mask Review – Pearl Collagen Essence Mask

Time to relax, put on a mask and watch Netflix. My summers usually consist of me working, but as I don’t have a job this summer (first time), I spend my time blogging, designing for Serene Sky and doing chores. Life is actually pretty boring for me, I don’t go out and my skin is pale from spending hours indoors. Anyway, I finally decided to treat myself to a little mask that my cousin brought home from Vietnam. It’s called Dermal Collagen Masks; and she bought home a bundle of 4 types: Red Ginseng, White, Pearl and Aloe.  The lone SKINFOOD Masks, they were samples. There’s a store in Cerritos mall, so I’m hoping to try these soon. I was debating whether or not to try the White Mask or the Pearl one, I ended up trying the Pearl one. Directions/ Features Overall I like the mask, it doesn’t have a horrible smell and doesn’t sting upon application. Also, the mask itself is very large and I have a big face,I also like that they have parts to …

Favorite Makeup Essentials!

Favorite Makeup Essentials I’m really big on simple makeup because I find it especially hard to find makeup that goes well with my skintone. I try to stay away from dark eyeshadows and smokey eyes. Here are a few of my favorite makeup essentials!  Foundations & Primer Left to Right: Egyptian Magic Cream, Napoleon Perdis spray foundation, BB Cream, Foundation & eyeshadow primer. I just added the egyptian magic cream because I used it as a moisturizer yesterday when I applied my makeup 🙂  Really love this spray; it works especially well for my skin and for that I’m thankful. I use it when I want pretty light coverage as it doesn’t make my skin feel heavy. But, if I’m going to Vegas then I’ll put on foundation and put this over it. I use this most of the time, hence why it is all used up. I really love this although it is quite pricey but lasts a really long time. The coverage is heavy and it doesn’t make my face look like an …

What I’m Packing – Makeup Bag & OOTD

    I’m heading up to Green Valley Lake this weekend and after an AMAZING night at Disneyland (They were open 24/7!) I woke up at noon and had to quickly pack my bags. Here’s a sneak peek at what I’m bringing along, makeup bag – and my OOTD for the day. I’m very simple when it comes to makeup… but not because I want to be simple! I simply don’t know how to put on makeup. I have monolids, so it makes it a challenge for me. Oh well, I guess simple is best.   I bought this cute little bag from Daiso! It was only $1.50. I love the little quote.   I never drew in my brows before, since they are pretty dark on their own. But, the lady at the counter tried the brown on me and it looked so natural and nice I just had to get it. My favorite; I use Honey pot & Push up (As you can tell… almost gone!) Favorite lippie from Clinique. It’s a bold dark purple. …
