OCFW – Sugar Rush

O.C. Fashion Week: Sugar Rush Thanks to Donna, my old boss, I was able to attend OC Fashion Week with Lindsey! We were both excited and didn’t know what to wear and regrettably, I dressed way too casual for the event. Since it was my first time going to a show, I didn’t know what to expect! But, luckily Lindsey had gone to shows before so that made me feel better. Of course it wasn’t as glamorous as NYFW, but hey.. it’s a start right? We also were introduced to Donna’s new intern, Yu and we all had such a fun time taking photos after the event. Forgive me, my little point + shoot did not hold up to all the action that was happening! Most photos came out too blurry so I didn’t think to put them on the blog. The event was held in Newport Beach. So, I had my tutoring session, ate dinner with Lindsey at Yardhouse, and headed over. We didn’t know where to park and when we pulled up the guy asked …

Tiffany Blue Accessories

{Outfit Post} Tiffany Blue   I tried to come up with an interesting name for this post… but really couldn’t. So, here’s a quick outfit post. I asked Brandon what color he thought this was since at 2 am it seemed green to me (I know…) but he told me it seemed Tiffany Blue; so Tiffany Blue it is! Planning to wear this on our trip to Knott’s today. I’ll have photos up by the end of the night 🙂  I wouldn’t consider myself an accessories girl since I’m always losing my necklaces, forgetting to wear my sunnies, and fiddle with my fingers too much for rings but as I’m interning for Serene Sky… I might as well try to play around and find accessories that compliment my outfits.  Outfit Details Top: F21 / Sunnies: Secretly.yours (my shop) / Ring: Thrifted / Earrings & Necklace: F21     These earrings are oh so cute… They really go well with the shirt. Close up of the sunnies. I’m including them in my giveaway soon!  P/S: Hope you guys are liking …

Lazy Fridays

Yay, it’s the weekend! That means I get to spend a whole two days with Brandon and explore! Plenty of things on the agenda this weekend, we just got back from Disneyland, we’re going to Knotts Berry Farm tomorrow and then ending the week with a Serene Sky Event.  Not surprisingly, I hate dressing up to go to theme parks because I will be too tired and uncomfortable even, to walk around in the hot sun. So, for those days out… I like to dress down with oversized tanks (which I’m all too familiar with… thanks to the weight gain) and shorts or just leggings.  Thankfully, my sister bought some gym clothes for me at such a great price. These were all purchased from Old Navy, they have a great sale going on also 🙂  From Left to Right: Brandon’s shirt ($8), Pink workout Tank ($4), Lazy Shirt ($8), and Blue workout tank ($4). By far my favorite purchase.   $2 Flip Flops At Old Navy.

Obviously I’m Crazy For Blue Dresses

My favorite color to wear is black, because of the fact that it really tones down your body. I’ve seriously never seen anyone look horrible in black; but why do I have so many blue dresses? Here are two cute dresses that I’m really loving for summer nights.  P.S. do the photos look a bit different? I shot them with the CANON 9G (which is my dad’s camera). It’s the next closest thing to a DSLR in my house right now lol! Still playing around with the functions, the camera actually came out in 2008… but still looking nice 🙂 This blue dress is from F21. It looks better in real life and is very flowy. I like this one because there are so many ways to wear it. You can style it with a belt because it’s very flowy and wear it with black lace shorts, or leggings and boots for a casual night out.  I love love the back. In case you guys aren’t following me on Instagram, then here are a few of …

Cute Dresses that were all thrifted!

Who says you can’t find cute clothes at the thrift store? I was lucky enough to find these adorable dresses at my nearby thrift store on fourth street! I’m very much in love as each dress can be versatile and worn for every occasion. I’ve listed the prices that I bought these dresses at (and one romper).  1. Rocker Chic I am loving this cute romper and leather jacket duo. The romper is so sweet! The top is form fitting and shows off your curves while the bottom part flares out to give you a nice comfortable feel. The leather jacket makes me feel wonderfully sexy. The leather jacket is from Forever 21, size Large because I like to wear it oversized and not too form fitting. Romper was thrifted at Plato’s Closet (I’ve written a review… check my search bar) for only 7 dollars! Leather Jacket: F21 Romper: Love Couture $7 ! Loving the delicate design on this romper. These pockets go pretty deep and can hold plenty of things such as my phone or wallet with …

Mini Haul from F21.

I went shopping at F21 yesterday and were so happy to find that all items on Clearance were an extra 50% off. These items were surprisingly cheap! The shorts and skirt were about 5 dollars. I purchased other items for my vegas trip but decided to take a photo of these because the rest were dresses and just too much work to take all the pics -_-“   Love these ombre shorts, the first kind I’ve ever owned.   In love with the detailing on this shirt.   The reason I chose this skirt was because, although it seems very simple, I believe the color combo can go with anything I wear. If I wear it with a button up shirt, then it’ll look classy. I can also wear it for a night out with the girls to the club or bar hopping! Also, the pockets on the side give it such a nice sophisicated feel.
